Cancer Cure? Maybe ....

If you have read my blog before, you know that I love conspiracies.  One of the few conspiracies I do not believe in is a hidden cure for cancer.  Too many rich and powerful people have gotten cancer and died.  Too many ambitious doctors want to find the cure for riches, fame, and ego.  With that being said, I do believe that there are doctors and Big Pharma companies who are milking the cash cow for all that it's worth.  No one can argue that it's in Big Pharma's interest to keep the cancer gravy train of treatments, drugs, and doctors' visits running.  The cancer business rakes in more than one hundred billion dollars a year and continues to grow at exorbitant margins.  

Israel's Accelerated Evolution Biotechnologies might have figured something out that is cheaper without side effects.  They discovered MuTaTo (multi-target-toxin).  This new product will cure cancer within a year's time.   It essentially works like an anti-biotic.  DNA coding for a protein is put into a bacteriophage or a virus that infects bacteria.  Researchers and doctors can screen this.  They somehow come up with peptides that can fight the cancer cells.  Patients are given at least three of these peptides for treatment.  

What makes this treatment different than radiation, chemo, and other drugs?  They attack a specific target in or on the cancer cell.  Mutations occur that make the targets no longer important to the cell.  It only attacks a receptor one at a time.  

MuTaTo uses a combination of peptides for each cancer cell.  The treatment is not affected by mutations.  This method attacks receptors three at a time which is too fast for the cancer to spread.  AIDs patients use similar treatment.  However, AIDs patients take medication their whole lives.  Cancer patients only take MuTaTo for a few weeks.

Sounds too good to be true?  I certainly hope not, but will continue to be suspicious!  Big Pharma companies are claiming to be on to new things as well.  This new treatment claims to be cheaper than what doctors are currently doing.  We'll see.  If there is a way to jack up the price....
