First of all, most abortions are not performed because of threats to mothers' lives. But that seems to be the compelling argument that both the right and left have mentioned. Let's get real here. I am writing about this because no one else is.
Nine month abortion is murder to me, if not most of the world, and of course the Catholic church. What does the Pope think of this new law? We don't know. He is kind of busy ripping on Trump and the wall. However, "some" (not all) Catholic leaders are angry. Bishop Scharfenberger of Albany, New York told Fox News that this new law is torture. We, as a nation, wouldn't even perform this on a cat or dog. I agree!
But the real reason why I am blogging on Dina Rae's blog is this: What motive can a woman possibly have to abort her baby at nine months pregnant? Why wait so long? Why wouldn't she do it during the first three months? Or even before the first twenty-four weeks? I think we all know why and are too afraid to ask. Money, money, money$$$$$ Money for what? Body parts. Newborns have great stem cells and untarnished organs, perfect for harvesting in genetic laboratories. This new law is really a way to legalize a new kind of business-genetics, all of it-editing, deleting, studying, cloning, harvesting, designing, you name it! This will become a new kind of Doctor Moreau's Island. I hope Dina writes a new book about it.
Bill was of course fired from Fox for sexual harassment shortly afterwards, but he claims he was fired for political reasons. Maybe his contribution to the Planned Parenthood expose was one of them.
But conspiracy aside, one thing is clear. Abortion is big, big money, almost a one billion dollar a year industry (link: http://www.culturallegacy.org/abortion-profit) Late-term abortions cost over $3000 a piece, compared to $400 a piece during the first trimester. Love to hear what you have to say! Please leave a comment!
