Are Angels Aliens or Vice Versa?

Are Angels Really Aliens or Vice Versa?  By Dina Rae

As a Christian and a believer in extraterrestrials, I wanted to write a novel about some kind of divine or intellectual race of beings who help humans evolve.  Are angels and aliens one in the same?
We’ve all heard about UFO sightings, alien abductions, burnt crop fields, and cattle mutilations.  Roswell, New Mexico. and Area 54 are the meccas of American X-files.  Bright discs are seen everywhere around the world.  What does the Bible have to say about extra-terrestrials?  Were things so different three thousand years ago?  Or are we just using a different vernacular?
Anyone who has ever picked up the Bible knows the story of Noah and the ark.  God chose him and his family because they were ‘pure’ (Genesis).  The question is pure heart or pure bloodline?  Angels mated with women back in those days, producing a half breed called nephilim.  These beings were described as giants with superhuman powers.  Could the nephilim be an old version of modern day aliens of a mixed race or even early attempts at genetic modification?  Was Noah and his family the last ‘humans’ left of the human race?
Angels and aliens are always described as glowing with light.  Ezekiel, an Old Testament prophet, vividly describes a spaceship in his book.  Ezekiel 1:16: “The appearance of the wheels and their work was like unto the color of a beryl: and they four had one likeness: and their appearance and their work was as it were a wheel in the middle of a wheel.”  Many Ancient Alien theorists use this passage as documentation of Ezekiel witnessing a spacecraft landing on earth.  The description of the wheel is definitely futuristic.
Enoch’s writings about angels were controversial enough to be edited out of the Bible.  More of his writings were found in the Dead Sea Scrolls.  He regularly communicated with angels and ascended up to Heaven to speak with God on behalf of their shortcomings.  Possible abduction?  Genesis 5:24 clearly states that Enoch “walked faithfully with God; then he was no more, because God took him away.”
Did angels or aliens come to Earth to show mankind technology and weapons?  One of the Bible’s biggest examples of this, at least according to Ancient Alien Theory, is Lot’s wife.  Genesis 19:26 says, “But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.”  Lot and his family were warned not to look back.  We know now that nuclear blasts leave salt.  There are large salt contents all over the Dead Sea to suggest that there was once an ancient nuclear explosion.
In the Bible these beings appear to prophets, kings, and every day people.  In modern day many geniuses such as Tesla and Da Vinci claim that brilliant ideas just popped into their heads.  Some alien believers call these moments of greatness part of the Akashic record.
Whatever you believe, angels or aliens were definitely here thousands of years ago.  Our history books only tell us bits and parts of our past.  The Best Seller, my new sci-fi novel, uses ancient alien theory, New World Order, Nazi conspiracies, and aliens to weave an entertaining tale that will leave you wondering about our collective past.

The Best Seller (Solstice Publishing, May 31st, 2016)
When Maya Smock writes her first novel, everything seems to go her way. Her book practically writes itself. She marries her gorgeous agent. Her name is on all of the best seller lists. Billionaire author Jay McCallister takes an interest in her meteoric rise to fame and invites her into his world of alien-believing celebrities. Her life changes forever when he tells her that they were both created inside of a laboratory. These authors are embedding an alien genetic code within the pages of their novels that originated from Nazi Germany because…
The time has come. They are here.

BLURB:

This Dom’s life is turned upside down when he agrees to enter into a modern-day marriage of convenience with a woman who’s sassy and vanilla.

EXCERPT

She closed her eyes and softly banged her head against the door. If she didn’t get the romantic ball rolling with him soon, her every chance with him could disappear. She hated having to throw Logan in the ring every time to get a reaction from James, but damn, how else could she…?

Suddenly another idea came to her.

She opened her eyes and looked down at the package. Did she dare?

The sounds of James moving around in the room next door cemented her decision. Absolutely. She’d do it.

In fact, by the time she’d washed up, unpacked the box of toys, and had given them a thorough going over, she’d convinced herself that James had really left her with no choice in the matter.

*

James got into bed and was determined to push thoughts of his in-name-only wife out of his mind. He was ready to count imaginary sheep, pennies, bouncing balls, real balls—damn—a picture of himself stationed quite happily between Michaela’s legs as he slammed into her over and over materialized—no.

“Think sheep. Count sheep. Sheep, sheep, sheep,” he whispered. Hoping to use this power of suggestion technique to his advantage. And it was working. He was slowly drifting off to sleep watching the…mechanical sheep? He tried to sink deeper into oblivion by overlooking the gears and metal parts that made the robotic animals leap effortlessly across the starlit landscape in his mind until...

He opened his eyes and stared at the ceiling. Why was he dreaming about mechanical—?

“Oooh…”

That soft moan woke him right up, and when he snapped into a sitting position he knew why he’d been dreaming about machines. Mickey had opened her package and if he didn’t miss his guess, that was a Hitachi humming away.

One wonders if Ms. Riley is in the sex therapy and marriage counseling business as a day job. The D/s part of this story is Fabulous.

Book Review: Koolura and the Mayans by Michael Thal

Koolura and the Mayans is the third book in the Koolura series from author Michael Thal.  The reader doesn't need to have read the first two books to follow what has already happened in previous novels.  The story stands alone.
Koolura's dad is getting married in Mexico City.  She and her best friend Leila, a deaf girl, go with Koolura's family for the wedding.  Koolura has many magical powers such as time traveling.  She and Leila go back in time to when the Mayans ruled Mexico.  She and Leila are not the only ones brought back in time.  Aliens have set up camp and plan on changing history.  Maya and Leila try to stop them, but have many obstacles to overcome.
https://www.amazon.com/Koolura-Mayans-Book-3-ebook/dp/B01D3UM8JY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1463952821&sr=8-1&keywords=michael+thal
My Review: This is a Y.A. thriller/adventure story, a genre that I don't usually read.  It was a joy ride to another era along with being an entertaining novel.  I especially liked Koolura and Leila.  Native American heroines and deaf side kicks are very unusual.  I liked the originality.  I think this would be a wonderful read for YA lovers of all ages.  Thal has managed to teach something about history while keeping the reader glued to the pages of the book.  Well done!  I am an instant fan!  5/5 Stars.

Book Review: Nazis and the Occult by Paul Roland

Nazis and the Occult by Paul Roland is a nonfiction book about the major influence the dark arts played throughout Hitler's regime.  Hitler was not the only one who dabbled spirits, astrology, ancient relics, seances, and the paranormal.  He filled his party with plenty of like-minded individuals such as Himmler, Bormann, Goebbels, Goering, and Hess.

Roland started at the beginning, not Hitler's beginning, but the beginning of the modern day notion that the Aryan race was the superior race of the world.  Guido von List (1848-1919) kicked it off by claiming to be a descendant of a Nordic warrior with blonde hair and blue eyes who drove the Romans out of Germany.  His faith lied in the Wotan religion, a pagan religion.  He eventually incorporated God into this religion by claiming that the Aryan race was ordained to rule.
List also claimed he channelled wisdom from the ancients through the Akashic Records (an invisible matrix of mental energy).  List was a scam artist.  He misused the "von" in his name to give off the illusion of aristocracy, but was a son of a tradesman.  List and then Madame Blavatsky played their parts in creating the Theosophical Society.
Another phony aristocrat, Baron Rudolf von Sebottendorf, helped shape Nazi ideology as well.  He made Germans prove their purity by tracing their ancestry three generations and then even measured their skulls.  He organized a study for the lost continent of Thule which was thought of a the Nordic Atlantis.
One of the most interesting parts of the book was Hitler's obsession with ancient relics.  He came into possession of the Spear of Destiny (the spear that punctured Jesus at the cross by the guard).  The Spear was on display in an Austrian museum.  Once Hitler rose to power, he seized the Spear, believing it gave the owner power.

My Review: This was a fascinating read.  The author admits he doesn't have 'hard' proof of some of the accusations, but does have witness accounts and plenty of research to suggest that the book is true.  Not sure if I believe every word, but enjoyed reading it.  It's very hard to picture a handful of insane people who are about to rule the world involved in all of this Woton/pagan stuff.  I learned a great deal of the craziness that was going on behind the scenes.  Hitler and his cronies seemed to pattern their Nazi regime off of Freemason pageantry and regalia.
The theosophy link was especially interesting.  I used to live right by a Theosophy Society in Wheaton, Illinois, and always wondered what went on there.  Apparently this 'religion' is still thriving.  There website had something about reading tarot cards.

I highly recommend this book to history lovers fascinated with Hitler.  It was well-written, organized, and filled with history and conspiracy.  Loved it!

5/5 Stars

BLURB:

Desire wins the lead role.

Sadie Layne, a creative and motivated high school drama teacher, is grateful for second chances. After surviving breast cancer, she embarks on a celebratory trip to LA with her two best friends. Sadie never expected to run into the handsome and charming Vince De Carlo in the hotel lobby. She hasn’t seen Vince much since they worked together in a theater company years ago. Their meeting interrupts her plans and reminds her of the life she left behind.

Vince, a struggling actor and cover model, is in LA to promote a television pilot. His old attraction to Sadie is stronger than ever. He never forgot her, even though a trusted friendship and a scripted kiss was all they’d shared.

The reunited pair give in to temptation, but reality soon collides with lust as strong doubts about their blossoming romance get in the way. Sadie dreads facing her defeat as an actress, and Vince doesn’t think a struggling actor like himself is capable of providing the accomplished teacher with what she deserves.

Will the couple find a way to keep their sizzling romance alive and build a future together? Or will their uncertainty win the lead role and smother the flames?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Excerpt
How on earth was she supposed to explain spending the night out to her friends? Her heart told her to stay with Vince. It wasn’t as if they’d just met. Some of the students in the workshop had told her he’d had the hots for her, nevertheless, she’d insisted it was platonic. It took honesty on her part to admit she’d had a strong physical attraction to him. All these years her fairy-tale romance was right in front of her eyes, and she had looked past it to put her acting career first. Her whole world had revolved around the theater. How could she have lied to herself for so long? If she’d known her path would divert into a different direction, she might have done things differently. At the time, her goals had come before any form of romance. No more. Not this time. She was going for it. Full speed ahead, girl. So long regrets.
“You have no idea how much I want you, and I always have. You’re the most gorgeous woman I’ve ever seen. There is no other woman who can compare to you, Sadie.”
He trailed his tongue along her cheek and nibbled at her neck. Chills ran rampant through her body. Each gentle touch of his strong fingers along the inside of her thigh getting higher and higher. Sadie’s arousal escalated, and she wanted nothing more than to rip his clothes off. He made his way back up to her mouth, and she parted her lips to welcome his tongue. His passionate kiss intensified her longing to have all of him.
“I want you too,” she whispered softly.
EXCERPT
from The Fine Art of Keeping Quiet by Charity Tahmaseb
So we keep going, up the driveway and the three steps onto the front porch. There, the lamplight turns everything yellow, even Sam’s eyes, which look more like autumn than summer right now. I should open the door and go inside. My fingers are ice, my nose threatening to run. My teeth, which I’ve hardly thought of all day, prick at my upper lip. Insidious words pop into my mind.
Can you even imagine anyone wanting to kiss that? I can’t remember why I ever thought she was pretty.
“Thanks for helping me today,” I say despite my teeth.
“Thanks for helping me. What did I tell you? It’s like the Montagues and Capulets, only with scripts instead of swords—and a tree branch.”
I laugh.
“See you tomorrow?”
I nod.
“I’ll text you.”
We don’t move, like earlier in the garage, when it felt like the very air changed. It does that now, becomes hard to breathe. I sway forward, slightly. I don’t mean to—it just happens. Sam takes my hands, squeezes them. Then he sways forward.
His kiss is so warm, it should melt all the icicles hanging from the eaves. My heart beats so hard, it should shatter all my ribs. When he breaks the kiss, and I suck in cold air, I feel like I’m plunged from a warm dream into an icy bath.
“Tomorrow!” He dashes down the stairs and into the night.
In that single word, I hear his promise. We will see each other tomorrow. We will practice. We will … kiss?
Re: Jason is Dead
Jason is dead.
Go ahead. Say “I told you so.” You never do, but just this once could you stoop down to the level of us mere mortals long enough to sneer like a ten-year-old? Put a little hip wiggle into it and wrinkle your nose. Roll your eyes at me like I'm the biggest moron on the planet.
After all you did, in fact, tell me so.
And when you're finished, I need you to do me the biggest favor I've ever asked in my life. In all likelihood, the last favor I'll ever ask. I need you to take Jay. I need you to keep him safe, because you and Evan are probably the only two people who can. I hope that one day you can find it in your heart to love him like you love your own daughter.
Your Friend,
Movie Review: Money Monster
Money Monster, starring George Clooney and Julia Roberts, is about a disgruntled investor taking over a financial show in a terrorist style.  The gunman (Kyle) loses all of his money after taking Clooney's advice and investing in a 'can't lose' company.  The company goes belly-up after a week and then blames an 'algo' or algorithm for "losing" all of its assets.  Without spoiling the movie, a mini-mystery is attached to the company's demise.
My Opinion: Jodie Foster, the director, proves once again how talented she is.  The movie is full of action, suspense, and an interesting plot.  Although the story line is fiction, it made me think of the mortgage industry, hedge funds, the S and L Crisis, and several of the true stories on American Greed.  Foster taps into a growing disdain most Americans feel about Wall Street.  The gunman is just a poor schmuck who wants to get ahead.  His low wages would keep him in debt forever.  During the middle of the movie I felt sorry for him. Maybe that was Foster's point.
The acting is wonderful as is the story telling.  The movie brings up some interesting and valid points about the rules or lack of rules that allow heads of companies to burn through the stockholders' assets for personal gain.  Great movie for adults who are suspicious of the stock market.  4.5/5 Stars
While writing my newest novel, The Best Seller (May 31st, 2016, Solstice Publishers), my Nazi research led me to Operation Paperclip.  This American covert operation smuggled somewhere between five hundred to five thousand men who were at the top of their fields in technology, weaponry, and science into the United States to continue their work.
This operation was originally called Operation Overcast.  Most of it is still classified today.  The names of many of these Nazi engineers and scientists were written on a special list called Osenberg's list.  A Polish tech found part of the list on a toilet seat at Bonn University.
Government officials found these men and recruited them to the United States.  Neither the state department nor those in charge of prosecuting war criminals were informed.  All of this was done in the name of power and progress.
These scientists worked at secret bases in New Mexico, Texas, and Alabama.  Many feared that if the U.S. didn't take advantage of these great minds, the Soviets would.  Both sides knew Germany was the most advanced country in the world when it came to weapons of mass destruction.  America caught a glimpse of the marvelous German advancements after capturing a German sub that held V-1 glide bombs and V-2 rockets.
Wernher von Braun, perhaps the most famous Nazi rocket scientist, was part of the program.  He led the U.S. air and space program. One of his most prestigious engineering feats was the Saturn V.  Many rumors circulated on how and where he got his information.  Some claimed he communicated with aliens about space travel.  One of his proteges, Doctor Carol Rosin, stated otherwise.  She announced to the world that Braun feared Eisenhower's ultimate political warning-the military-industrial complex.  On Braun's deathbed, he supposedly said that America was playing the alien card.  In other words, when the time came, America would claim that aliens were a threat and all kinds of weaponry and related space gadgets would be needed to defend the world against these advanced beings from other galaxies.  According to Rosin, Braun called aliens the ultimate lie.
Many believe America's superpower status was largely due to their World War II victory and the Germans they embraced. Some even call America's power the Fourth Reich.  This conspiracy might very well be reality.
The Best Seller uses Operation Paperclip as part of the story line when explaining the progression of genetics.
